Scope

The first workshop of the GdR Complexe is the opportunity to gather French and international research teams working around the physics of waves in disordered media or in complex systems in the broad sense. Topics of the conference include (but are not limited to):

  • Wave propagation in random media
  • Random matrix approaches to complex systems
  • Light scattering in atomic gases
  • Matter waves in random optical potentials
  • Multiple scattering of seismic waves
  • Chiral optics
  • Imaging of waves in complex media
  • Optical waves in nonlinear media

Practical information

The workshop will take place in the auditorium of Institut Langevin in Paris on April 1 and 2 (1 rue Jussieu, 75238 Paris, France). The institute can be reached from the Metro stop "Jussieu" on the lines 7 and 10.

To attend the workshop, please fill the registration form. There are not registration fees. Lunches will take place at Institut Langevin. A workshop dinner for the speakers will be organized on Monday evening.
